easy is sort of "hard" to win, haven't seen anyone win this map yet...
the map itself is fun, but very very overpowered... sorta takes the fun away tbh... make it winnable :)
I think a helpful add, is to bring back the old reinforcement setup, maybe that can help... or just make it easier/lesser units per wave overall... or make it in wave form with pauses in between to build up... etc.
Ah nice thanks for the feedback.
I'm not able to join public servers where i live atm thats why i cant test my map online.
Didn't play even a single game with others.
So you really think its too hard hmm
when i created this map i had the sorrow that normal could be too easy, because i was able to kill the cpu.
I know if you are playing this with other players its much harder because most of them have lower experience on this map and you must help them then.
I also worried about lags on this map while i created it, thats why i didn't add helpers here but if this is no problem i will add some.
I think a new version should be ready at the weekend.
gl hf ;D
Very fun map.
Fairly easy to do on hard in singleplayer, just need to rush to get nuke subs which can hold off the invasion on their own if you get them firing alternately. I'm not sure what makes it so hard with other players but people struggle to win on easy with 20k starting money.
It actually gets easier at the 9 minute mark when the demotrucks start coming, as they tend to blow up their own army and base.
Most of the AI bases can be cheesed by sending a couple of artillery along to the side of the lane that the enemy wont bother attacking - maybe it should just be a survive-as-long-as-possible thing.
As Beanbrains sad: in single player with nuke subs and capturing a lot of control points it's really easy even on hard 100% difficulty. But overall very fun map, had a good time with it.
@Janitor
Yes the code needs an overhaule indeed
The best way would be to implement it from my newest defend game map.
https://resource.openra.net/maps/30301/
The nuketrucks there are one of the 11 special attacks wich are done from time to time and only rarely on normal and a bit more often on hard.
The whole unitincome is working diffrent there and must be adjusted.
Also getting the sneakattacks in without making it too unfair will not be easy.
All this suff will need some time and first something completly diffrent will happen to this map hehe
