A map for tactical challenges and long games. It is a larger version of my first map "Great Desert Island".
If you have ever wondered how it feels to play a long game of Tiberian Dawn, then you have found the right map. This map is designed for long games that focus on the tactical aspects of command, giving you the chance (and space needed) to explore the art of building and maintaining several bases throughout the map to use as staging grounds for your attacks or as outposts for repairing your army to maintain the right unit composition.
Of course, you could also just set up a semi automated production from several bases and rally your units to swarm your opponents from several directions. How you make use of the tactical options this map provides is of course up to you.
Each starting location comes with enough resources to build and maintain a primary base (provided you don't come under too much fire) letting you comfortably defend against land based attacks. Beware air raids from the sea though.
The AI seems to be comfortable enough and the resources in each starting location provide the AI with just enough to keep itself afloat and provide a good opponent. Sometimes the AI gets stuck and continues to produce units which can lead to the AI base to get flooded with units. This can make an AI base exceptionally difficult to defeat especially if you play without super weapons.
In short: This map is not designed for quick and easy victories, it is a tactical challenge map to give you a chance to test and refine your command with the setting of Tiberian Dawn.
