Tip for MCV. Go for the 4 captured fremens early in mission. you may catch the box with the MCV nearby.
I started going through this game.
What is the author's idea here? Must player to capture base and to create own Construstion Yard and so on? Or to act WITHOUT BASE, with reinforcements only?

May I ask, how do you program exactly MCV in crate (box) ?
There in mission ffive is more options. Standard way is capture starport in smuggler base on the south and build MCV here + at least 1 missile launcher. But conquest the base with a captured fremenes from the south is quite difficult with a very limited forces & time. There is also different way but more complex for control. You may infiltrate Harkonnen base from from the north through mountain pass. Just go for the captured fremens from the north. If you will be fast enough, you may find crate with MCV near those captured fremens. Its quite difficult to grab this crate and run from there with a MCV...you need to sacrifice several soldiers for it. You will move with MCV on the north and deploy base here because time is running out. One or two turret to defend and several troops.In the same time, you need to gather fremen forces spreaded over the map and prepare to capture outter base more on the northeast. Build rafinery here and finish the mission in classic form...Only start is more complicated. For that second plan is better slower game speed for more operational time to succesfully achiveve all goals. Just combined assault from more directions in same time. Really HARD...but mayby somewhere better than standard plan with Smugglers starport.
Crate with MCV was simple. MP rules copied into the SP mission. A.I. in my campaign missions are nerfed skirmish bots. Standard scripts wont to listen my orders directly as i wanted. So improvisation...i had half of my campaign already finished with standard scripts while 4.5. + missions started to be problematic for scripting. Why rest of original Atreides campaign is missing in program ??? But standard skirmish A.I. bot cripples solved this problem... but if they don't have to set up the base... they will build enough units in total. So i was able finish the campaign at least, once ive started to make it.
Playtest skirmish A.I. Bots honor. They are quite clever...using their maneuvers also in campaign missions, making good difficulty.

I just wrote another object for "crate" with MCV.
:-) Right now.
I will write in forum later about it (where I create topic about it). Maybe to continue communication there, in forum? Because I don't quite understand about MCV.
I saw before, that big-big rules copied in your game... From other game, but I didn't understand from where...
