Description:
Recon Enhanced - made by BLACKSIR and LIQIUD!, based on the Enhanced mod by N.N.>, this mod aims to refine and improve the original mechanics of DUNE 2000, as well as add a lot of additional content.
- Buildings and Upgrades:
Durability, construction time, cost and energy consumption for most buildings have been changed, Wind trap gives 250 energy, increased Outpost view radius and added detection of invisible units
Reworked the building tree associated with the Heavy Factory
Added Inverted Spice Refinery with docking for Harvester on north side
Gun Turret and Rocket Turret have a minimum attack range of 1 and 1.5 cells, Gun Turret is more effective against infantry
The cost and time to research most upgrades has been changed, Conyard Upgrade also gives armor upgrades for most buildings, added Silo Upgrade that greatly increase Silos view radius
- Units and Super Weapons:
Almost all combat units have received a rebalance of durability, damage, attack and vision range, cost and production speed
Harvester, Carryall and MCV have the same armor and durability and regenerate when they take no damage, Harvester can hold up to $1000 spice
Sonic Tank is resistant to damage from other Sonic Tanks and Fremens, Deviator leaves gas after death, Devastator regeneration removed and self-detonation increased
Engineer also captures husks, repairs allied buildings and vehicles, and gained Thumper's ability to lure worms
Added Scout Ornithopter for map reconnaissance, it will circle until the end of the game around the point that player specified through the RallyPoint in the High Tech Factory
Saboteur is invisible at all times and can be detonated at any time like Devastator, Death Hand can destroy almost any unit and building
Added an additional Super Weapon - Air Support for Harkonnen and Deviator Bomb Drop for Ordos, Air Support calls 5 Ornithopters with machine guns to bombard the target point, Deviator Bomb Drop drops a bomb with enhanced Deviator gas at the target point
Added a mode with 4 new playable factions - Fremens, Corrino, Smugglers and Mercenaries (details are in the faction selection window at the start of the game). The game mode with new factions can be disabled in Options. In this mode for Harkonnen, the Sardaukar is replaced with an Assassin - light infantry with high attack range and damage, attacking only Infantry
Other Map Options changes: the time until the worm appears can be configured, replaced standard starting units with starting Carryalls, Concrete Slab dimensions increased by 4 times
