Naval mod map with an attempt at trying out some balance. after so long of being out of the loop: I'm back to bring you this.
If you wish to play with the more balanced navy: there'll be an option already toggled on (but you can turn it off for the vanilla navy, but the balance will still effect the units) when you select your rules.
both factions have a Patrol Boat, Destroyer, Submarines and Crusiers (along with basic Transport), thanking Inq for the Soviet Naval units. some units will have been drastically changed compared to how you're used to using them, so do take some time to learn them each.
Allies Navy: Gunboat, Destroyer, Missile Submarine, Cruiser
Soviet Navy: Gunboat, Frigate, Submarine, Dreadnought
the Bulletin for what's changed is already provided on the map when it's downloaded and is being played, so enjoy reading through what has changed.
Fixed the Submarine weapons so Torpedoes keep the Subs underwater and now will surface when attacking the ground. use these weapons carefully.
massive update today, ranging from unit weights, damage values, all sorts. thank you to Punsho for being there to slog through it with me to try and improve it, hopefully this'll feel amazing to use. if there are still problems on the map: hopefully it'll be identified quickly and can be resolved.
