Description:
My rough sketch of a mod aimed at "rebalancing" all three Houses, making them all unique.
All changes:
Units and structures no longer require building upgrades.
Infantry and Stat. Defense detect cloak at 1c0 and 6c0 ranges respectively. Radar does not provide detection, instead it gives flat 8c0 vision radius.
T1 Stat. Defense does not work in low power.
All Houses get their own unique Stat. Defenses
Starport works faster with each SP constructed up to tenfold increase in speed with 10 SP's max
Unique infantry in starport for each House.
Vehicles are generally less manouverable, except for Ordos.
All Houses get Death Hand at Palace. 11:40 charge time (fast speed). Wipes out almost entire HD screens of units.
Atreides - Expensive "middle-ground". A-Units have more range and self-heal up to 50% HP but come at an increased cost.
===Fremen Commando - Unit with cloaking ability. Mows down infantry at long range, but completely incapable of fighting off vehicles solo. Can place charges on Structures and Vehicles killing them almost instantly.
===Sardaukar\Missile Sardaukar - Elite infantry you can purchase in SP, comes with it's own APC. Slow, but dangerous if they get close enough
Harkonnen - Slow Powerhouse. H-Units are slow and inaccurate, but have biggest raw DPS and vehicles have increased AoE radius.
===Sardaukar Commando - Elite infantry you can purchase in SP, comes with it's own APC. They have Devastator-level DPS but in general come off as a Jack-Of-All-Trade unit.
Ordos - Cheap Horde. O-Units are dirt-cheap, infantry does not go prone under fire and vehicles have weaker armor classes.
===PMC's - Purchasable in SP, come in Grunt, RPG and Spotter variations. Grunt can only damage infantry, and Spotter does not have any weapons, instead providing 6c0 vision range. PMC's cloak after being idle for 6-7 seconds.
