my two cents:
-i am thinking relocating the (super safe)outskirt derricks towards the middle might add more to the "playing field"
-locationwise the expansions seem kinda off (the super close safe expo for instance and the corner expos beeing super safe... i use the plural because if you adjust one expo u probably have to adjust the others too)
+very open map
+solid eco situations for the players

oh thanks a lot for the feedback. the super safe oil derrick, has 2 purposes that I also did in "pitiless" 1 is to avoid not going for mid derricks will be super punishing, since you will always get 1 in the back, second is activating engineeris play behind the base, or sniping the engi going back to take back oil after getting mid one. thoose things worked quite well on Pitiless IMO, but received similar criticism.. "the super safe double expansions, where actually moved a lot closer after criticism that the only way to play the map was to move directly to opponents double mine expansion and base push that. thanks alot for the feedback :) the map actually startet with trying to make a more dynamic version of Ore Egano.. but then ended up being completely different, properly more like El Hazar now I guess..
hm, fair point with the "engineer in the back shenanigans".
i am thinking (looking at bottom right spawn) you could move that derrick behind the double ore and in between the 4-cliff-tile mountain and the next cliffs, which still might invite people to do plays around the "engineer in the back shenanigans" and is a lot less safe.
