Description:
Each spawn has 2 big expansions which are the same distance from spawn. There is the same amount of mines at spawn as the big expansions, so it'd be less of a loss if the main is destroyed. There are 6 choked-up mines along the periphery which are behind fences. Each one works at around 1/2 efficiency. There are no oils. The map has roughly 15 ore mines equivalent in ore production, but makes up for it with an above average amount of ore.
The capturable power plants are to influence build orders and provide building area and vision along the shortest path between spawns.
It's somewhat of a doughnut shape, but with a partially open center. It has left-right and top-bottom symmetry. The bridges are there for the same reason anyone would put a bridge anywhere. There are fences and barrels for giving away information.
Conceptually, I was going for a potentially cis/trans split map that opens up some, in the mid/late-game and encourages tech. The center is for mobility between expansions. The choked-up peripheral mines are to provide minor points of contention between the big expantions.
