Description:

===INTRODUCTION TEXT NOBODY WILL READ===

This map is an attempt to use workarounds to create a new "post-apocalyptic" tileset to be used with mod-maps.
It uses a custom palette to make the TEMPERAT tileset look differently, changes tree graphics to their dead sprite and adds a few new graphics. None of the custom tiles in this map are actually tiles, but custom buildings, which are rendered below any other building/unit.
However, Tiberium is always rendered below buildings, so the custom "tiles" will make Tiberium on the same area invisible.
While I do want to keep this mod-map/tileset close to the original gameplay and only add decorative objects (and possibly some terrain features like Radiation, or maybe new Tech-Buildings in the future), I also want to add the possibility to add expansions with money on custom terrain. For this, I have added a custom building, that can be placed on certain areas only (Tree tiles - Tree tiles are different from actual trees) and give cash, much like Oil Derricks. These Tree tiles are only used in certain templates and are never large enough, that such a building could be placed there, without the use of Copy+Paste for single tiles (Just check out this map in the editor and remove the "Tiberium Veins" to see how the map looks below).
Apart from that, the factions remain entirely unchanged and there are no other new units or buildings.

===HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN "DECAY" MAPS===

Guide is for TD only, at the moment. I might make an RA port, if there is any interest for that, though this would require some additional graphics to fit the RA world (no tiberium etc.).

1. Create a map with the correct bounds, you want to have. Choose TEMPERAT as your tileset. Save it without any further changes.
2. Download and open the Decay map with a file manager - I use 7zip.
3. Extract the following to a place of your choice (and where you can find this stuff again):
- music (folder - OPTIONAL - only copy this, if you want the 7Mb .wav music present in the original Decay map)
- sprites (folder)
- yaml (folder)
- blue.pal
- green.pal
- temperat.pal
- units.pal
4. Open your own map with a file manager
5. Transfer all the files extracted in Step 3 into your map - do not use an extra folder for this, just keep the same file structure as in the Decay map.
6. Extract the map.yaml from your map.
7. Open it with a text editor - Notepad++ is what I use.
8. Scroll to the bottom of the File and paste the following as is (do NOT add line breaks):

Rules: yaml/decay_rules.yaml, yaml/decay_tileset_ra.yaml, yaml/decay_tileset_1tc.yaml, yaml/decay_tileset_cracks.yaml, yaml/decay_tileset_dirt.yaml

Sequences: yaml/decay_sequences.yaml,yaml/decay_sequences_1tc.yaml,yaml/decay_sequences_ra.yaml,yaml/decay_sequences_cracks.yaml, yaml/decay_sequences_dirt.yaml

Weapons: yaml/decay_weapons.yaml

Music: yaml/decay_music.yaml
#(OPTIONAL - use this ONLY if you also copied the music folder into your map)

9. Save the map.yaml and put it back into your map. Overwrite the previous map.yaml.
10. You should now be able to see and use all the tiles in the Map Editor. Keep in mind that they are listed in the Actors menu.

===============

NOTE - Tiberium Craters produce Tiberium at around 12.5% of green blossom tree. The huge Tiberium crater does NOT produce tiberium. To see which terrain is required for Tiberium Mines to be placed, I recommend to take a look at the original Decay Map. NOT EVERY TILE WITH THESE TINY TREES IS CONSIDERED A TREE TILE.

THE TILES THAT GO BY THE NAME "maptile (number)" DO NOT BLOCK MOVEMENT. If you use them, place cliffs below them (or have units moving over huge craters like they don't exist).
