This is my remake of the map, Walls, from Command & Conquer: Renegade and Renegade X.
As accustomed to the actual map, both bases have walls with three openings.
Due to the map's relatively small size and lack of space for Tiberium fields, I tried to compensate by adding an Oil Derrick to both of the bases as well as one in the center of the map where the 'mystery crate' would have spawned.
The map is a relatively faithful recreation as I went the extra step for authenticity by placing all of the rocks and boulders where they were in the original map.
This is the first in a series of remakes I plan on making for Tiberium Dawn.
I'm planning on creating re-imaginations of all of the Renegade multiplayer maps to see how they play on an RTS grand scale as opposed to the FPS scale that they were intended for.
- All of the errors have been fixed (hopefully)
- Removed the starting area Tiberium to limit it to the fields outside outside of the base walls to encourage "scouting" the area.
- Added rocks to the outside of the "gates" where they would have been in the Renegade version.
